Many churches utilize buttons on their website to allow their members to “give online”. If your online giving link has changed, or you would like to edit the button text, this section is for you.
Edit Page
First you want to go to the page that has the button on it. Once you are there, click “Edit Page” in the site admin bar.
Click the Button
Hover over the button you wish to edit, and click on the blue “Edit Button”.
Paste the Link
Once you click “Edit Button”, settings will appear to the left. If you are wanting to edit the link to the button, click in the “Link” box and paste the link to your online giving.
Edit Text
If you want to edit the text that you see on the button, click in the box to the right of “Text”. Simply type what you want to appear.
Edit Button Color
If you wish the change the color of the button, click on the “Style” tab in the top of the settings panel.
This will bring up style setting where you can change the font and color of the button background and text.
If you click on the blue globe to the left of the color square, that will bring up “Global Colors” that we have pre-set within your site’s color palette. This helps keep things cohesive. However, if you click on the color square to the right of the globe, you can pick any color you choose.
Edit Hover Settings
Hover settings are what you see when you hover over a button on your site. To edit, click on the “Hover” tab within “Style”.
The most common edits you would make here would be the button color, text color, and animation of the button when you hover over it.
Save & Exit
Whenever you are done editing, always make sure to save by clicking the green “Update” button. Once you have saved you can exit using the red “X” button.
