Hyperlinks allow you to link text. Once you click on text that is hyperlinked it will navigate you to another page or site on the web. Hyperlinking text on your website is quick and easy and allows you to guide your viewers easily.
Copy the Link to Your Clipboard
The most important part of hyperlinking your text is actually copying the text to your clipboard. You can do that by highlighting the link and copying it either by right clicking using your computers shortcut for copy.
Enter Page Editor
As with any edit on your site, you are going to want to make sure you are on the correct page and click “Edit Page” in the top admin bar.
Add or Choose Text
The next step is to either add text to your page by clicking and dragging the “Text Editor” widget in your widget side bar, or selecting existing text on your site.
Highlight Text
In the “Edit Text Editor” settings under the “Content” tab, highlight the text you want to hyperlink.
Click Insert/Edit Link
Once you have the text highlighted, click on the link icon.
Now, paste or type the link that you want the highlighted text to lead to.
After pasting the link, click the blue arrow to apply. It should now look similar to this:
Save & Exit
Once you have hyperlinked the text, be sure to “Update” and exit the editor.
